Use ConvoCatch from Claude or ChatGPT

Set it up once, in about two minutes. Nothing to install.

If you already use Claude or ChatGPT, you can ask it about your matters, and it will answer from your calls and documents in ConvoCatch. For example:

  • “What did the client say about the settlement offer?”
  • “What do I owe my clients this week?”
  • “Where does Brooks v. Hartwell stand?”

Each answer shows where it came from, so you can check it.

Before you start

  • A ConvoCatch account.
  • Claude or ChatGPT, on a plan that lets you add connectors (usually a paid plan).

You'll need this address in step 2. Copy it now:

https://app.convocatch.com/mcp

In Claude

  1. Open Claude and go to Settings, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add custom connector. Type ConvoCatch as the name and paste the address above.
  3. Choose Connect. A ConvoCatch page opens: sign in and choose Approve.

That's it. Set it up once and it works in Claude on the web, the desktop app, and your phone. If your firm uses a Claude Team plan, the person who manages it may need to add ConvoCatch first.

In ChatGPT

  1. Open ChatGPT and go to Settings, then Apps, then Advanced settings, and turn on Developer mode.
  2. Create a new connector. Type ConvoCatch as the name, paste the address above, and choose OAuth for sign-in.
  3. A ConvoCatch page opens: sign in and choose Approve.

Then just ask

Ask about a matter the way you'd ask a colleague. If ConvoCatch has nothing on it, your assistant will say so.

Is it safe?

  • It only reads. Your assistant can't change, add, or delete anything in ConvoCatch.
  • It sees only what you can see. Your own matters and the ones shared with you, nothing else at your firm.
  • You can turn it off any time. In ConvoCatch, go to Settings, then Connected apps, and choose Revoke. It stops working within a minute.
  • Mind your AI plan. What you ask, and the answers, go to Claude or ChatGPT under their own terms. For client matters, use a business plan that doesn't train on your conversations, as your firm's confidentiality duties may require.

Does it cost extra?

No. It's part of your ConvoCatch plan. Searches and briefings use a little of your plan's hours, the same as in ConvoCatch. Billing, then Usage, shows what your assistant used.

Other AI assistants and Claude Code

Any assistant that can add a remote MCP server works: give it the address above, and it signs in with OAuth (there's no key to copy). In Claude Code: claude mcp add --transport http convocatch https://app.convocatch.com/mcp, then /mcp to sign in.
